Dr Wayne Lawson MD RACGP
Originally from country Western Australia, Dr Lawson moved to Queensland to attend to the University of Queensland in 2015. After an extended period splitting his time between Redcliffe and Sunshine Coast he has decided to make the permanent move to be closer to his family in the area.
Following a long and varied career as a Registered Nurse working in diverse environments such as Remote First Nations Communities, homeless healthcare, Intensive Care, Emergency and as Director of Nursing at country Hospitals, Dr Lawson decided to compete his medical degree in Queensland.
Following graduation in 2018, Dr Lawson gained extensive experience in Orthopaedics, Neonatology, Antenatal and Post Natal care whilst completing his Residency years at Mater Hospital Brisbane.
